Behold My Servant

Where do you find hope when you’ve blown it? How do you keep going when you know you’ve messed up?

Isaiah spoke to people staring into the judgment of God. A nation sick with sin and weighed down with guilt. A city emptied out into exile far from home. And yet to people who had turned away, God remained faithful. To a people who deserved nothing, God promised a future. Their hope, and ours, lay only in God’s promised Servant: one who would finally deal with sin, unlock all God’s promises and see salvation reach the ends of the earth.
